For the majority of Med hedonists Ibiza 2006 is over and that's terribly sad. But for those that can't wait till May next year when the season starts sizzling again, there's Pacha Ibiza's New Year's Eve special. Again the entire club will open to cater for the demand from the international jet set but somehow it's a more intimate, cosy affair. There's no guarantee the weather will entice you onto the beach but it will certainly not be wintry in the British sense of the word. Especially not with the hot'n'Dirty duo Soul Avengerz on the bill. Paul Gardner and Wayne OConnell do "pure house for true music lovers" and their production and dj schedule demonstrates their popularity. Did you like 'Funky Sensation' featuring Angie Brown? That was them. How about the rerub of Peyton's 'Never Give Up'? Soul Avengerz strike again. Maybe you witnessed Javine singing 'Don't Let The Morning Come' on Pete Tong's Essential Selection live from Mambo Cafe on Radio 1 weekend? The boys can take credit for that too. Their work has been included on compilations from the industry's biggest players - Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Positiva, Soulfuric and more. The Avengerz brought Pacha Ibiza to its feet on June 2 this year before flitting off round the rest of Europe's famous dancefloors. Their much anticipated return, with support from in-house ace Angel Linde, will kick off at 1am on New Year's Day and will continue till 8. Of course if you want to go the cerdo entero, then book a table at the Pacha restaurant for their famous five course New Year's Eve dinner. Club entry: 28 euros - opens 1am - 8am Dinner at the Pacha restaurant featuring five courses of Mediterranean cuisine + club entry: 200 euros VIP table, includes entry for 2 people, private table and one bottle of spirits: 300 euros
